Bach Elvira (b. 1951) is a postmodernist German painter known for her colourful images of women. A member of the Junge Wilde art movement, she lives and works in Berlin. Best known for her colorful self-portraits, Bach’s work is distinctly stylized and deconstructs her identity and femininity into form, concept, and iconography.
