Gran Catherine (b. 1966, Moscow) Catherine graduated at the National Institute of Decorative Arts of Paris. Catherine Gran is an artist who exhibited in London, Paris, Florence, Beirut. Her black and white drawings, as precise as the devil’s and
full of a sweet irony, can be found on many unusual materials : large decorative sconces of china, bronze
classical chandeliers, Victorian dolls’ houses, etc … For Edmond Petit, she designed four collections of wallpaper
and decorative panels that have been travelling around the world.
In 2017, her wallpapers were selected to join the collection of the Paris Decorative Arts Museum. Her world is
filled with vibrating stillness, wit and understated elegance, as if a cabinet of curiosities would open up to all the
beauties of Nature.
