Mané-Katz (1894 – 1962 b. Ukraine). Emmanuel Mané-Katzvwas a French-Ukrainian painter known for his depictions of Jewish life. The artist employed loosely gestural brushstrokes and rich colors in his paintings of rabbis, landscapes, and musicians.
